:zustimmen Ja die sind auch genial. Ich hatte mal eine CD (Modified) von denen und vor einem Jahr oder so hab ich sie einem Freund ausgeliehen und sie bis heute nicht wieder erhalten. Die CD hatte nämlich einen seiner Wutanfälle nicht überlebt. Aber er hat mir versprochen mir eine neue zu besorgen

Reel Big Fish's latest release, "Cheer Up!" won the "Outstanding World Beat/Ska Album" award at the California Music Awards which were handed out last night in Oakland, CA.

Other winners included

• Red Hot Chili Pepper's ("California Favorite")
• The Offspring ("Outstanding Alternative Album")
• John Lee Hooker ("Outstanding Blues Album")
• AFI ("Outstanding Group")
• Gwen Stefani ("Outstanding Female Vocalist")
• Blink 182 ("Outstanding Hard Rock Album")
• Black Eyed Peas ("Outstanding Hip Hop Album")
• among others.

Winners were determined by fans who voted online at www.californiamusicawards.com or by mail.

The award comes just as the popular ska/punk/pop/rock ensemble gears up for this summer's Coast to Coast Roast Tour which kicks off on June 15th in New Haven, CT. Rounding out the bill are RX Bandits, Catch 22, Lucky Boys Confusion, Big D. And The Kids Table, Jenoah and Suburban Legends.

Was es alles für Awards gibt - unglaublich. Jedenfalls find ich es super, dass RBF auch mal Awards kassieren, schließlich sind sie meiner Meinung nach die beste aktive Ska-Band der Welt.

On July 18th, the first 400 people to show up to the House of Blues will be invited to sit in on the band's sound check from 5:00pm-5:30pm. Fans will also get to cast their votes for what songs they want to hear during the sound check by visiting www.reelbigfish.com. All attendees will also receive an autographed poster.

Da wäre ich gerne dabei. Dort muss es zu gehen, ein Joke nach dem anderen.
