Ein kurzer Überblick über die Folge :
Paige finally comes into her own as a Whitelighter and embraces her second magical half when she is assigned her first charge - who happens to be a man with a past that we're all too familiar with.
Although he's turned his back on his abilities and is spending his life as a disoriented drunk, Samuel has a destiny greater than he knows, and with the proper guidance he can find his way back to that path. Of course, Paige isn't aware at first that he is a former Whitelighter - and, in fact, her biological father.
When Piper and Phoebe recognize their mother's guardian and he recognizes the sisters, chaos ensues and he leads them on a wild goose chase as they try to both reunite father and daughter and protect Sam from a conniving Darklighter named Ronan who is out to kill the old man.
Of course, no episode is complete without its side storylines, and as it turns out, Ronan is working under the control of Cole, who has embraced his evil side once again - and is setting everything up for the sisters to come after him and kill him. Piper and Leo, in the meantime, have their hands full with looking for a magical creature to play nanny to their magical baby, but not every elf, sprite or pixie wants to deal with demonic attacks. Phoebe, meanwhile, has her suspicions about Cole being evil again and wants her sisters to prepare for the worst, and Paige is dumping boyfriend after boyfriend despite their near-perfection. Getting back to Story A....
When both Leo and Paige are incapacitated at the hands of the Darklighter poison, and with Paige unable to heal either of them given her partial Whitelighter status, their fate rests in the hands of one man - Sam, who must face the past he has run from and save the daughter he has never known.
